AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER  SYSTEM CALCULATIONS

Step 1 - Occupancy Classification:

The first step in hydraulic calculation is to classify the hazard type (commodity being protected). (Ref: Chapter 5 - Classification of Occupancies and Commodities, NFPA-13)

Step 2 - Density/ Area Curve for water requirements:

After choosing the hazard occupation, we refer to Fig 11.2.3.1.1 (NFPA-13)-2007 Density / Areas Curve to establish water requirements.
